A dock box is a good way to transport heavy material through the sea

A dock box is used for many reasons. It is generally used to store things in and left on the docks. It can sit on the dock for a long time waiting for the time when it will be transported by sea. The material it is made from should therefore, last for a long time and withstand the ravages of all kinds of weather – rain, sleet, heat, cold etc. The boxes can be obtained according to requirements as they are available in many sizes and capacities. There is nothing too small or too big that cannot fit into a dock box. The dock box made of fiberglass is the latest new technological dock boxes. The fiberglass that it is used has an average of 3/16” thickness and there is a UV coat provided on the outside to keep the dock box looking as good as new. The interior is coated with an attractive off white rust resistant paint that makes it look spacious. Hinges that attach the lid to the main body of the box is made of stainless steel and are called piano hinges. These are attached with the best quality adhesive. All rivets on the box are rustproof and oversized. Stainless steel cable stays are provided with all models of Dock Box . This is to ensure that the dock box remains in one piece while it is being transported through the sea in ships that are used for this purpose only.

Then there are fish refrigeration dock boxes that are used as ice chests, fish boxes and freezers in boats to keep fish that is caught fresh till the boat reaches the shore. These are also extremely sturdy as they have to withstand the constant movement of the sea even in stormy conditions year after year. There are small freezers for small boats and yachts and bigger ones for the trawlers. They are built to withstand the hottest tropical sun and yet maintain zero degrees Fahrenheit. These are slightly expensive but very durable and of great quality.
